Even though twitter was created in 1999, (according to the way back machine) It has gone through several webmasters using the site for advertisements. It wasn’t until September 30 2006 where Twitter was first introduced to the web. The first design – well; it’s .. very .. basic? Very very very basic. We can see that they try to introduce twitter into a place to connect. In my opinion, this website is .. very ‘what-the-fudgicles is going on’. It doesn’t really describe what it is, it doesn’t advertise itself in a way that they want people to join the website.

However, around February 10, 2007, Twitter has started to slowly develop into the iconic site it is at the moment. It is amazing what they have done over a short period of term. Twitter has started to seem more inviting into the website. It display real-time tweets. However, it is really hard to find the login area, making current twitter users to log onto twitter.

And that takes us to the current Twitter home page. It’s very simple. People who are curious about twitter can find out what’s going on, what is everyone talking about, while it makes it very easy for current users to log on. And you can’t lie – you love the tweet bird.
